リアルタイム・スリットスキャン体験装置。
スリットスキャンとは、
時間が異なる複数のフレームから１枚の画像として再構成する手法で、
時空が歪んだような不思議な映像効果が得られます。
ここでは時間tのみならず、フレームのxy座標も変位の対象とし、
(x,y,t)から(x',y')に巧妙に射影することで、新しいスリットスキャンの可能性を探ります。
30秒ごとに射影の種類がシームレスに変化し、計10パターンの効果を体験できます。
A slit-scan experience device.
Slit scan is a method of reconstructing a single image from multiple frames at different times. Here, not only the time t but also the xy-coordinates of the frames are subject to displacement, and by constructing (x,y,t) in a complex way, we are exploring new slit-scan possibilities. It is a well-worn method, but we are looking for a slightly new perspective.
